    1. Do Innergie’s adapters contain batteries within?

    No, Innergie notebook adapters do not have batteries built in, therefore, cannot be used without being connected to a power source.


    2. How do I know whether Innergie’s adapters are compatible with my notebook or portable devices?

    To check for compatibility, please visit our dedicated support page at http://www.myinnergie.com/Compatibility/CompatibilityCheck.aspx and search for your device in which you want to use with our products. In case, you cannot find your device please click http://www.myinnergie.com/Compatibility/Questions.aspx, fill out the form and submit to us. We will get back to you as soon as possible.


    3. Why can I not charge my Nokia mobile phone with the USB port on the adapter?

    Some Nokia models require 6 volts input voltage, which is not the standard USB output voltage. Nokia charging cable and 6 volts booster can be purchased on the Innergie online store or respective retail locations.


    4. How would I charge my mobile devices using the Innergie adapters?

    Each Innergie adapter has USB port built-in, simply use the original charging cable that came with your device or purchase Innergie mobile phone charging cables separately.


    5. None of the tips provided in the standard package works with my laptop, how can I get a tip for my laptop?

    If your laptop falls within the voltage and wattage support range of the Innergie adapters but cannot find a compatible tip within the standard package, simply go to contact us, log in to our service system to create ticket. We would be happy to offer you a free tip with minimal delivery charges.


    6. How do I know the voltage and wattage requirements for my laptop?

    There are two ways to verify the voltage and wattage requirements for your laptop.

    • Check the label located at the bottom of your laptop, there should be indication of voltage and current required. Wattage requirement is computed by multiplying voltage by current (For example: Laptop with spec of 19V x 3.42A requires 65 watts of power)

    • Check the label located at the back of your original notebook adapter, there should be indication of voltage and current required. Wattage requirement is computed by multiplying voltage by current (For example: Laptop with spec of 19V x 3.42A requires 65 watts of power)



    7. Do Innergie adapters support Apple laptops?

    As the apple laptops utilize a proprietary MagSafe connector that is not currently licensed to any third party, the Innergie adapters do not support the Apple laptops. The iPod and iPhones, however, can be charged through the USB power ports on the Innergie adapters through original charging cables.


    8. How can I return a product that was purchased on the Innergie website?

    If you purchased our product within 30 days, simply go to contact us, log in to our service system to create ticket.

    Please also provide your information listed below to ease your returning process.

    • Purchase date, place
    • Serial number of our products
    • Proof of purchase

    If you purchased our product beyond 30 days, we do accept only the replacement. Please refer to our RMA policy for more information.



    9. What is your warranty policy?

    The standard warranty of our adapter is 2 years. However, we offer you another 1 year extension to be 3 years, simply by go to product registration page and register your purchase on Innergie website.


    10. Why does my adapter get heat all the time?

    The main reasons that the adapter gets heat because you may use the device that is above limitation of our adapter. We do not recommend using any of our products on device that has not been tested by our Compatibility Department. Please refer to compatibility check page before purchase our products.


    11. What does OCP, OVP, OTP, OOP, SCP mean?

    It is the built-in protection of our adapters to ensure that our adapters are safe to use and risk free.

    • OCP :Over Current Protection
    • OVP :Over Voltage Protection
    • OTP: Over Temperature Protection
    • OPP: Over Power Protection
    • SCP: Short Circuit Protection



    12. If I have a Mobile phone and a MP3, which adapter can I purchase?

    Alternative 1: You can simply buy one of our adapters to charge your mobile phone and MP3 via USB port.

    Alternative 2: You can buy our USB Charger (mMini AC) to charge your mobile phone and MP3 by connecting to AC socket.
